Anything MADELA

Hooked.

Laptops… Computers… iPhones… Blackberry… USBs… iPods… iPads…

Admit it or not, we are all hooked.

Never in a day would I see no one tapping away on their phones (me included), checking Twitter and Facebook (me included), calling someone, emailing, listening to music in their mp3 players, etc.

Gadgets. Technology. They’ve taken over.

Personally, I feel naked without my phone. I do everything on my iPhone (like writing this blog)… And when I forget to bring it (which rarely happens), its U-turn for me, head back home and pick it up. I feel useless without it. Unreachable.

I know. Some of you are thinking… “OA naman…”.

Cge nga. Try going through a day without your phone and you’ll see how much you’ve missed! Phone calls, messages, tweets (hahaha)… Your mom might even be looking for you!

I tried and challenged myself one time and said I won’t be attached with my gadgets, pero wala… I’d find myself jumpy whenever I hear someone else’s text alert.

Okay… I’m going nowhere.

Iisa lang naman gusto kong sabihin…

Wala lang… Bored ako at di ko dala sketchbook ko!

In this job I’m in, I’d like to believe that we are paid for our talent. But sometimes it isn’t so.

Picture this.

Average calltime is at 2PM… Being a guy, dressing up usually takes me 10 minutes… show or event starts at 8PM… I usually sing towards the end… around 10-ish. See??

I gotta keep busy during that 8 hours wait or I’ll end up pulling out my hair coz of boredom.

Thank God for technology.

And thank God for pens and paper!

Check out my doodles.

Oo… may sakit ako… non-stop singhot at ubo.
Nakakainis kasi kahit anong iwas mo sa sakit kung merong isang tao na hahatsing sa paligid, tumpak na tumpak na mahahawa ka… well, yun ang nangyari sa akin.
Buong Disyembre ata may sakit ako…

Okay… it’s been so long since I last posted on Tumblr… been busy with a lotta crap… yeah, yeah… blah, blah…

When I opened my account, I noticed there were quite a handful who are kinda interested of what goes on in this brain of mine… so, I think I ought to come back and write my thoughts.

Right?

I owe this to those people who went out of their way to click that follow button.

Back to Reality

I’m on the plane back to Manila.

Christmas break is over.

Reality check. Back to work.

Back to busy Manila… and it’s wretched traffic.

I’m kinda sad coz I always like spending time with family. It’s where I’m most comfortable an there’s never a dull moment.

But I’m also happy and looking forward to going back to work.

Looking forward to a prosperous 2011!!!

Phones off now. Plane taking off.

Bye Iloilo. For now.
